Beverley Coach Trip – September 2017

A lovely day out again on our WCA coach trip to Beverley!

Crossing the Humber

Crossing the Humber

The coach driver was very helpful and decided to take us across the Humber Bridge so anyone who hadn’t seen it before could have a closer look.

We arrived in Beverley in good time and had a chance to walk around this medieval market town to see the lovely sites of this area of East Yorkshire.

The town has a few walks for those who want to investigate the guilds and crafts of the old days such as Rope Making, Potting and Brewing.

Always time for a tea party!

The interior of the Minster

Such a fine town for architecuture

The Minster in all its glory

Some of us visited the magnificent Beverley Minister and a few even made it as far as the Church of St Mary’s -which is even older than the minister.

All aboard for the trip back home!

The fish and chips in the town were tasted and given a high rating as well!

All in all a good day out!
